When I used my camera the first time, I thought it is a bad quality. Most of my shots during that time were blurred and not so good. But I was surprised when I downloaded these pictures . I found out that my camera is as good as what the professional photographers are using. My teacher in photography congratulated when he saw these pictures. He said that is not the camera that makes the picture bad or beautiful but its the person who took the pictures - as long as he/she knows the different features or programs of the camera. Yeah, he is true, because at first I just took pictures and I didn´t mind about the subject. I used my camera as long as I have the flash. Then I studied my camera and learned about its programs. I read the manual and tried the different programs and different effects. Now, I am greatful that I got these pictures. And see the results: my pictures getting better. In addition to that, my subject is really nice; my environment, isn´t it?
My journey away from my family, my love ones, my friends, my community,my cultures and my beloved country.

What Am I Doing Now?
I feel homesick and bored but there are many things to do like cleaning the house, learning the language, acquiant myself to the new city like going here and there by bus or by train, doing some handicraft stuff, chatting, playing in facebook application, calling friends and families, gossiping about someone and many things. I am not in the mood to do such right now. I miss my old home. I opened the computer and clicked Pinoytvchannel. I watched news about the coming election in the Philippines. Nothing change during election time in the Philippines. Politics still the dirtiest profession as what they say. Candidates throwing controversies among their rivals, supporters fighting each others and bought buying is all around the country. Sometimes election is very exciting, thrilling and scaring event in some parts in the Philippines. Many voters sell their votes to rich candidates. Maybe you are asking how much? Well as I observed and witnessed when I was there, in the local position for a mayor, 500 Pesos is good amount. For this amount a voter can buy food for one week or more? I remember the last election that I was there, I received 20 Pesos from a candidate for Municipal councilor. He didn´t give it to me directly but he put it inside the pack of snacks (a biscuits and softdrink). Thats the first and last money I got from a candidate throughout my life. I am so ashamed of myself after that. Anyway, I didn´t sell my vote because I am not a registered voter in that place. During the election I was in Mandaluyong City to serve as BEI. Well, I don´t judge these voters who receive money from the candidates, that´s their choice. I know that voters nowadays are wise people. They vote wisely and never sell their votes. They know that these money spend during election, will get it back when these politicians are in the position. So mga kababayan ko, my countrymen...pls vote wisely for our own future and for the future of the next generation. Choose the one who is God fearing and really have a heart to serve the people and not to be served by the people....We are in Democratic country so our government must be a government for the people, by the people. Again vote wisely.......and goodluck to all deserving candidates.

My New Plants ( Vegetables ),
- These are my vegetables planted in pots. Most of these plants are bellpeppers and some herbs. I started planting the bellpapers early January and during that time still winter time. These pots I placed it above the heater so they grow. Now I am so happy to these my plants growing, as you can see their leaves are so healthy.
- The herbs I bought the seeds in the store and just planted in the beginning of spring. In the morning I put out all my plants in the balcony of the house and at night I place them inside our house because I am afraid that these plants frozen.
- These plants alleviate my homesickness most of the time. I am giving them so much care and love as I love my kids living so far from me.

Missing my home
This past week, everynight I dreamt of my family in the Philippines. It seems its real that I had my vacation and having fun with them. This only shows that I really miss them. I want to have my vacation soon to see my family again and to enjoy the summer with them. Summer is the happiest time for us because we have lot of bonding time in the river with the whole clan. I remember when I was there, during summer we always have picnic in Magat River and we only brought rice and seasoning when we go there. The men in our family caught fishes, crabs and shirmps to eat for the whole clan. The women got clams or snails in the river for additional foods We have also vegetable field along the river and we got vegetable direct from the plants. Its really enjoyable when we have this gatherings, I couldn´t imagine how noisy my whole clan is. And not only picnic, we also washed our soiled clothes in the river while our kids were swimming, taking their bath and playing together. During eating time everyone was so satisfied and enjoyed the fresh fish and I saw all were happy during those time eventhough sometimes we burnt our skin( we don´t used sunblock). I miss my hometown now.....I want to go home....
Now,I am living along the river also but there is no picnic in the river bank. Its so dangerous. There are some restaurants along the river but its really different being in your own home. We can do such a lot of things in our river in my country but here I can only walk along the Rhine River. Fishing is not allowed for nonlicensed fishermen here, as well as taking bath and washing of clothes because in this river cargoships and passagers ships are passing almost every hour. The water is so deep and the flow is so fast.
