1. Work diligently and honestly.
2. Spend your money wisely.
3. Save for your own welfare.
4. Do not send all your money in the Philippines. Know your priorities.
5. Invest something for your future, like buying house, land or invest in the bank.
6. Avoid excessive spending when having vacation in the Philippines. Remember you did not pick up your money on the street.
7. Be humble always, though you are abroad it does not mean you are already rich.
8. Help your family in the Philippines but not all their needs will be handled by you. Share what you have and not give all what you have.
9. If there is an opportunity to be able to get a family member in the place where you are, help them so they will not rely on you anymore.
10. Avoid investing on things that does not beneficial to you.
11. Love your work. It is your source of income.
12. Love yourself. It is your source of strength.
13. Always pray to God for your safety and your family.
14. Always keep in touch with your family. Greet them in special occassions and holidays.
15. Say I love you to your family eventhough they forget to say that to you.
16. Love your employers.

The Story Of Man

On the first day God created the dog. God said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. I will give you a life span of twenty years." The dog said, "That's too long to be barking. Give me ten years and I'll give you back the other ten."
So God agreed.

On the second day God created the monkey. God said, "Entertain people, do monkey tricks and make them laugh. I'll give you a twenty-year life span." The monkey said, "Monkey tricks for twenty years? I don't think so. Dog gave you back ten, so that's what I'll do too, okay?"
And God agreed.

On the third day God created the cow. "You must go to the field with the farmer all day long and suffer under the sun, have calves, and give milk to support the farmer. I will give you a life span of sixty years."
The cow said, "That's kind of a tough life you want me to live for sixty years. Let me have twenty and I'll give back the other forty."
And God agreed again.

On the fourth day God created man. God said, "Eat, sleep, play, marry and enjoy your life. I'll give you twenty years."
Man said, "What? Only twenty years? Tell you what, I'll take my twenty, and the forty the cow gave back, and the ten the monkey gave back, and the ten the dog gave back, that makes eighty, okay?"

Okay," said God, "You've got a deal."

So that is why the first twenty years we eat, sleep, play, and enjoy ourselves; the next forty years we slave in the sun to support our family; the next ten years we do monkey tricks to entertain the grandchildren; and the last ten years we sit on the front porch and bark at everyone.

Bakit tayo ganoon?

Bakit ganoon? Kahit saan may mga Pilipino, hindi nawawala ang mga naninira ng kapwa Pilipino. Kapag mayroon tayong kababayan na medyo nakakaangat, ang iba ay naiinggit. At ito ang pinagmumulan ng paninira at pangtsitsismis sa taong iyon. Bakit hindi mawala ito sa ugali natin? Bakit sa halip na tayo ay magtulungan dahil parepareho tayong nasa banyagang lupain, tayo pa ang nagsisiraan? Lahat tayo ay may iisang dahilan kung bakit  nasa ibayong dagat tayo. Ito ay dahil gusto nating kumita ng mas malaking pera, pero ewan ko kung bakit maraming mga taong ganyan. Mga makasarili at mayayabang, gusto nila,  sila lang  ang umangat ang buhay. Bakit hindi natin kayang ngumiti sa tagumpay na nakamit ng ating kababayan, bakit may mga namamatay sa inggit. Dahil ba sa tinatawag na crab mentality, kaya tayo ganoon? Dahil ba ayaw nilang malampasan ng iba ang kayamanan nila? Bakit pera lang ba ang mahalaga dito sa mundo? Paano naman ang pakikisama , paano naman ang damdamin ng mga taong sinasaktan? Hoy pwede ba tigilan na ninyo ang pagiging CBN( chismosa, bungangera, nagger) ngumiti ka naman sa kapwa mo Filipino. Tigilan mo na ang paninira mo dahil ang sinisira ay  may puso din. Hindi mo lang alam kung paano siya nasasaktan sa bawat paninira mo. Tumigil ka na pwede ba? Paano naman kung ikaw ang siraan at nakarating sa iyo ang mga tsismis tungkol sa iyo? Matutuwa ka ba? Makakangiti ka pa ba?
